Gene Information

This gene encodes a protein which binds with glycosaminoglycans to form part of the extracellular matrix. The protein contains thyroglobulin type-1 follistatin-like and calcium-binding domains and has glycosaminoglycan attachment sites in the acidic C-terminal region.
